Our Mini Buns are absolutely darling! A very clever and petite version of a chicken bao with that tasty Asian sesame sauce. The bun is made with a traditional soft bao dough and is moist but dry on the outside. We recommend serving these warmed or at room temperature on a black platter garnished with long chives. They are perfect for tray passing or on a buffet table. This is also an appetizer that will sit well in a chafing dish.
Steam buns in a steamer from frozen for about 12-15 minutes or microwave wrapped in paper towel for 30-45 seconds depending on the strength of your microwave. Sold by the dozen, frozen and shipped overnight.
