- Griddle: Preheat griddle to 375°F. Spread a thin layer of oil over the griddle (3 to 4 Tbsp of oil per pound of potatoes). Arrange hash browns in a thin layer on the griddle. FROZEN:Cook undisturbed for 8 minutes, turn and cook 3 to 4 minutes. THAWED: Cook undisturbed for 7 mintues, turn and cook 2 to 3 minutes.
