Golden Cuisine Macaroni & Beef Meal has cooked ground beef, macaroni, carrots, and zucchini and red peppers. The Golden Cuisine Senior Meals Program was formulated by ConAgra's Product Development Specialists and Registered Dietitians specifically for Elderly Nutrition Programs. We worked closely with many Meals on Wheels organizations to design meals that are nutritionally balance and taste great! There are enough high quality meals to satisfy all your menu cycle needs, without ever having to repeat a meal. Our meals use natural whole muscle proteins excluding components made with ground beef or pork. We guarantee our Senior Frozen Meal will be the benchmark of quality, "Made With" our own national brands. We have meals that qualify for the following Modified Diets: Mechanically Soft Diet, Sodium Controlled, Fat Controlled, Calorie Controlled, and High Protein. Each meal is Nutritionally Balanced. It has 3 oz of protein, 1/2 cup of starch (pasta, rice or potatoes), two 1/2 cup vegetable servings in separate compartments, less than 30% calories from fat, less than 700 mg sodium, more than 1/3 RDA of protein and a significant contribution to 1/3 RDA of vitamins and minerals.

FOR FOOD SAFETY AND QUALITY, FOLLOW THESE COOKING DIRECTIONS: Directions developed using 1100 watt microwave oven. Ovens vary; cooking time may need to be adjusted. MICROWAVE OVEN: 1. Cut a slit in film over vegetable blend. 2. Microwave on HIGH 6 to 7 1/2 minutes. 3. Let stand 2 minutes in microwave oven. 4. CAREFULLY remove tray and film as PRODUCT WILL BE HOT. CONVENTIONAL OVEN: Do not prepare in toaster oven. 1. Preheat oven to 350F. 2. Cut a slit in film over vegetable blend. 3. Bake on COOKIE SHEET in center of oven 32 to 37 minutes. 4. Remove COOKIE SHEET with tray from oven; let stand 2 minutes. 5. CAREFULLY remove film as PRODUCT WILL BE HOT. Temperature about 350F and/or failure to use a COOKIE SHEET may cause damage to the tray, food and/or oven.
