Unlike “chocolate” (i.e. milk chocolate or dark chocolate), the rich and buttery flavor of white chocolate is not derived from the cocoa bean itself, but rather from cocoa butter. The sweet, subtle flavor of white chocolate perfectly complements and enhances other flavors.
